Charlotte is our Financial Manager at Aspen Arbor Animal Hospital. She works closely with Dr. McKee and our Hospital Administrator to create a well-balanced management team. She and Dr. McKee married before he entered veterinary school and they have been working together ever since to ensure the highest quality of care in their veterinary hospital. They have two children, two grandchildren, and a border collie named Mia.
Doug came on board as the Hospital Administrator in October of 2012. He started in the veterinary field over 26-years ago as a kennel technician and worked as a veterinary nurse for 6 years before finding his way into management. Doug has also completed AAHA’s two-year program with the Veterinary Management Institute at Purdue University. He works closely with Dr. McKee and Charlotte to maintain high patient care standards, ongoing team member training, and overall hospital growth. When he is away from Aspen Arbor, Doug enjoys working as an audio engineer in his home recording studio and playing drums in a couple local bands. Doug is also the Scoutmaster of Troop 337 in Broomfield and loves spending time in the great Colorado outdoors He lives in Westminster with his wife and two teenage children, three dogs (Summer, Buster, and Pippin) and two Ball Pythons (Striker and Saturn).

Jamie, Veterinary Nurse, CVT
Jamie has always been a student and fan of science! Throughout her youth and adult life, she has had interests in aquatic biology, zoology and anatomy and physiology. Becoming a licensed veterinary nurse has provided her with the opportunity to be in a career that combines her love of science and love of animals. It is Jamie’s goal to make every visit to Aspen Arbor Animal Hospital as stress-free as possible for all pets! She treats each pet as if it were her own! Jamie shares her home with her boyfriend and three cats: Nacho, Molly and Buzz. She also has two Chinchillas and two tarantulas!
Kendra, Veterinary Nurse, CVT
Kendra joined the Aspen Arbor team in August 2015. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in March 2006 as a veterinary nurse. She has been in the veterinary field since graduating. Kendra took a brief break from veterinary medicine in September 2013 and helped open a doggy daycare, but she quickly realized veterinary medicine is her real love! Her furry family includes 6 dogs and 2 cats. In her free time, Kendra likes spending time with her partner Jazmine and their Dogs Mystic, Trinity, Izzy, Dino, Molly, Teenie Tiny, and Molly. And cats Charlie and Rocky!
Tammy, Veterinary Nurse
Tammy was born and raised on a 1,000 head cattle ranch in Colorado. She grew up showing cattle in 4H Club and was very successful! She quickly came to understand and love all her animals and was able to develop wonderful relationships with them. She eventually moved to the suburbs and started working as a veterinary technician and has been developing her craft for over 32-years! Drawing on her experience from raising cattle, Tammy approaches her patients with a calm, confident, loving touch as she wants their visit to stress-free and happy! Tammy shares her home with her husband of 44-years. She has three adult children and her fur babies consist of Two dogs; Makala Blue and Khaleesi Storm and two cats; Bentley and Missi
Chris, Veterinary Nurse, CVT
Chris genuinely enjoys the science aspect of being a veterinary nurse. Charting lab work and performing dental cleanings are some of her favorite ways to help our patients. Chris’s goal with every patient visit is to keep them calm and as happy as possible in a stress-free environment. Chris is married and has a 2-year old son and two dogs, Nero and Arthas!
Abby, Veterinary Nurse, CVT
Abby is originally from Texas and moved to Colorado to achieve her dreams of becoming a Veterinary Nurse. She graduated from Bel-rea Veterinary Institute in June, 2020. She is a proud cat mom of a sweet Tuxie named Narcissa and is expecting her first child in February 2021. During her free time, Abby enjoys playing Animal Crossing or the Sims 4. She is fluently bilingual with Spanish being her first language.
Felicia, Veterinary Nurse, CVT
Felicia came to Aspen Arbor in December of 2020 after working as a lead nurse at another veterinary hospital. She graduated with her degree in veterinary nursing from Pima Medical Institute in December 2015. Animals have always been a part of her life and she wanted to not only be able to provide medical care to them but also help educate pet parents on overall pet health!
When she is not working, Felicia spends most of her time hiking with her husband whether that be just in the foothills or hiking up mountains. She also enjoys traveling and exploring new places.

Lauren, Veterinary Assistant
Lauren started working at Aspen Arbor in 2017 as a Kennel Technician while finishing her bachelor’s in biology at MSU, Denver. She ended up falling in love with the veterinary field which led her to her current position as Veterinary Assistant. Lauren feels it is truly fulfilling to help people keep their pets healthy and to help animals live their best lives. Especially in her hometown of Broomfield! Outside of work, Lauren enjoys live music, studying nature, weightlifting, hiking, video games, and spending time with her best canine friend Grunge, her boyfriend, and his kitty Vader.
Reyanna, Veterinary Assistant
Ever since Rey was a little girl, she always knew she wanted to help animals when she grew up. Rey has always felt connected to animals, like she was put here to help them in whatever way she could. Anytime anyone asked “what do you want to be when you grow up” Rey would say, a veterinarian!! While she is not there yet, she hopes to maybe one day be! Rey began her veterinary journey working at an emergency clinic in New York. She moved to Colorado in 2018 and started at Aspen Arbor Animal Hospital and it has felt like home to her ever since! Rey’s goal for each appointment is to have the pet and pet parent feeling safe and satisfied with their service. It is essential that pets are happy and comfortable during their visit with us! Rey has two dogs, Ava and Taz, that are her absolute world and I know I would want caring and compassionate care for them when they visit the vet!
Danielle, Veterinary Assistant
Danielle started in the veterinary field when she first moved to Colorado from Massachusetts in 2015. She started as a kennel technician, but after 6 months in kennels she started my training as a veterinary assistant and has not looked back! Danielle likes to make sure every pet feels as comfortable as possible while at Aspen Arbor and treasures the teamwork we have here! She lives with her fiancé, Steve and their goofy black lab named Faneuil (also known as Fanny). During her free time, she loves going to the mountains as a “furmily” to hike, camp, fish, explore!
Nickey, Animal Care Technician
Nickey started at Aspen Arbor Animal Hospital after working at another boarding facility ion the Arvada area. She is deeply passionate about being a kennel technician as she enjoys spoiling our sweet guests while their humans are away! Her goal with every guest is to make sure all guests have a comfortable stay and to give them as much love as possible! Nickey currently lives in Hudson with her boyfriend and their dog Codi.

Kim has always had a love for animals since she was a young girl. She started in the veterinary field during the early 2000s, and has experience in the emergency and general veterinary practice. She ended up leaving after a few years. She soon realized she missed the fur babies so much that she had to get back to doing what she loves! Her goal with every patient visit is to maintain a professional and satisfying experience. Kim also acts as our Front Office Coordinator! She shares her home with Tank; 3-year old boxer mix. Lindsey, Client Care Representative
Lindsey came to us from the human medical side and decided to work in the veterinary field to combine her passion for helping people and animals alike. She strives to make sure that every pet and pet parent is treated with compassionate care. Lindsey shares her home with two dogs, two cats, and a ball python named Luna!
Rebecca, Client Care Representative
After spending five years as a pharmacy technician, Rebecca decided it was time for a change and wanted to turn her love for animals into a new career. She moved from Pennsylvania to Colorado and took a position as a veterinary receptionist. After working four years at another vet clinic, Rebecca joined the team at Aspen Arbor Animal Hospital! Because our front office team are often the first and last faces you see when visiting, she wants to make sure everyone leaves with a smile on their face. Rebecca shares her home with her Beagle mix named Ali.
